January 8th & 9th 2005 - Tasmania

A few images taken over the Christmas break in Tasmania. The first few images are taken at Binalong Bay, NE Tasmania. The last two were taken at Bicheno, on the East Coast, showing a nice summer's "coldie" dumping hail and torrential rain inland from Bicheno.


Beautiful panorama shows a menacing band of rain and hail moving parallel to the coastline.

December 8th 2004 - Yarra Valley

A week of high storm activity throughout SE Australia and this evening, a superb sunset lit up the anvil of a decayed storm north of Melbourne, with superb mammatus throughout. This was part of a huge week of storms across SE Australia, a full report with images, videos, etc can be found here.
