Holwell Gorge
February 6th 2006

This walk took us 3 hours with many photographic stops along the way and a break for sandwiches. The walk offers rare remnants of rainforest waterfalls, streams, ferns, exotic flora and and fauna, be careful of snakes as the area is renowned for them. We encountered one snake, in fact it crossed the path only centimetres in front of us, so I recommend the use of good boots and gaiters.
